Such a Lucky girl, She is.

Last night I attended the Decades and Rent the Runway pop-up shop at 201 Mulberry Street event, which was filmed by Bravo for their upcoming show ‘Decades’ (the two-story vintage shop on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles) Christos Garkinos, co-owner of Decades was in attendance, and personally came to assist me… zipping me into a black, floor length, lace, vintage, dream of a dress. It was a moment, my ‘moment’, which was filmed…whether or not it makes it on air is up to the reality TV show production Gods one of whom happens to be the sister of my very good friend Lori V. Fingers crossed.

Upon entering the showroom you are immediately taken aback by the goods and are greeted by several handsome Cater Waiters offering Skinny Girl brand margaritas, new* Skinny Girl brand wine and pina coladas by you guessed it Bravo’s own, reality star, Bethenny Frankel.

The showroom was filled with Chanel, YSL, Prada, Pucci, Herve and many of the most coveted brands in all of the land. Not only were there drinks and designer labels galore, but you could try on each garment in their sizable dressing rooms and also rent pieces of Chanel vintage jewelry thanks to Rent the Runway. 

I was able to touch base with Mallory of MRE Jewelry, who works with and is close friends with the Decades owners and was selling her pieces at the event last night. She was wonderful and so are all of her pieces. You can view some of them on her site: mrejewelry.com . Last night was a fashion dream and Conscientiously Chic was happy to be there.

Oprah’s Life Class - The Tour!!!

As an avid lifeclass viewer, I watched the weekly classes on OWN - The Oprah Winfrey Network and was beyond excited to have been chosen to attend Oprah’s Life Class tour with Tony Robbins at Radio City Musical Hall just last week!

Life Class is Life Changing. There is nothing else like it on TV and if you haven’t gotten a chance to watch, I ask that you take some time out and give it a chance. Oprah is building a network that is truly Chicken soup for the soul and we all need nourishment.

The discussion point at this particular even was “What is the story that you are telling yourself? Is that what is holding you back from living fully?”

Tony Robbins explains that to have a breakthrough you need the right story, you need to be in a different state of mind and you need a strategy.

I have posted the Full episode below and hope that you all take from this experience as much as I have taken and hope that you continue to watch and grow.

A quick sidenote : along with myself and My best friend, Lina, my favorite spirit Junkie Gabrielle Bernstein and Branding Queen Marie Forleo were also in attendance. W couldn’t have been in better company. The positive energy was overwhelming and amazing.
